Tequila has a reputation for being a vehicle to get drunk, have a late night and wake up with a headache and a porcelain pony ride, but we at Elevated spirits want to prove that there is a better look for tequila. Co-Founder Jimmy Corbet has been in bar and hotel management since 2010 and has watched the emergence of premium Tequila Spirits in the North American market and made the decision to bring the buzz down to the south Pacific.
Originally having ties to New Zealand through rugby, Jimmy came to New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa at the end of 2019 and instantly fell in love with the New Zealand lifestyle. After sticking it out through Covid, Jimmy was determined to stay and started a private event bartending business which gave him a starting point to move into importation and start Elevated Spirits Tequila with his father, Blake.
Elevated Spirits Tequila is a father and son enterprise with a mission to import expertly crafted Tequilas from Jalisco, Mexico, and delivering them into the hearts and homes of Kiwis. It is our desire to teach people about premium Agave spirits, avoid bad tequila poisoning and elevate how New Zealanders enjoy their Tequila products and cocktails.
Tierra Noble Tequila
Located 7,200ft Above sea level in the Altos region of Jalisco is where Tierra Noble makes the magic happen. Using 100% Blue Weber Agave from both ‘Valley de Tequila’ and ‘Los Altos’ creates a finished tequila product with a complex palate and beautifully smooth finish. Picture Perfect.
We didn’t partner with Tierra Noble as our first NZ imported brand solely because they distill a good drop, but also because of their philosophy.
